The following update was posted on facebook from Julie's family:
Julie has come through the first surgery beautifully. She will be resting today and will then hopefully go back into surgery tomorrow to begin the repair of her left arm. The arm was badly broken - especially her elbow - but the dr. that will be working on her, elbows are her speciality! The Dr. today checked her left eye and removed several pieces of glass - don'...t know at this point if any damage was caused there. But the most AMAZING news is that during the surgery, the Dr was unable to find anything broken in her pelvis!!!! Yes that's right, we had been told that her pelvis had been broken in multiple places. Also, they can now not find any broken ribs. Praise the Lord!! Thank you everyone for prayers - we serve an awesome God!

Julie was driving when another woman swerved into their lane and hit Mike and Julie head-on.
That made me cry! I am just thanking the LORD for His healing Hand on Julie. I know we have thousands of people praying for the McClures....FB and blogs are so helpful.
